- API keys: You may enter API keys for third-party services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Pexels, etc.) into the App. These keys are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
- Donation information: If you make a voluntary donation through mattyjacks.com or givegigs.com, payment information is processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store credit card numbers.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Website analytics: Our websites use Google Analytics and Vercel observability tools to collect anonymized usage data, including page views, referral sources, browser type, and general geographic location.
- Cloudflare: Our websites are served through Cloudflare, which may collect IP addresses and request metadata for security and performance purposes, in accordance with Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on forms. This service may collect device and browser characteristics to verify you are human.
- Desktop application: The CryptArtist Studio desktop application does not collect or transmit any personal data, usage data, or telemetry to our servers unless you explicitly opt in to a future analytics feature. The App runs entirely on your local machine.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
When you use AI-powered features in the App, your prompts and file contents may be sent to
the AI provider you have configured (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). These transmissions
are made directly from your device to the provider's API. We do not act as an intermediary
and do not have access to this data. Please review the privacy policies of the respective
AI providers for information about how they handle your data.
Similarly, when you use Pexels media search or GiveGigs media bucket features, requests are
made directly from your device to those services.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
